The "Weekend Battles - Santorini" event features two distinct battle formats that challenge creators to showcase their content creation skills, creativity, and audience engagement abilities. Each format is designed to test different aspects of creator talent while providing engaging content for viewers.
Creators will compete in both TikTok challenges and offline battles throughout the four-day event, with points accumulated across all challenges determining the overall winners. Judges will evaluate content based on creativity, execution, audience engagement, and adherence to challenge requirements.
The TikTok Battle Format challenges creators to produce compelling short-form content under specific themes and constraints. These challenges test creators' ability to conceptualize, shoot, edit, and publish engaging content within a limited timeframe while incorporating Santorini's stunning backdrop.
Individual creators produce a 30-60 second TikTok video based on the daily theme. Day 2 theme: "Santorini Secrets" - showcasing hidden or lesser-known aspects of the island.
Creators work in randomly assigned pairs to create a 60-second TikTok video. Day 3 theme: "Island Transformation" - showing a dramatic before/after or transformation concept.
Creators produce a 30-60 second TikTok video featuring sponsor products or services. Day 4 theme: "Luxury Island Living" - showcasing sponsor products in authentic Santorini contexts.
The Offline Battle Format tests creators' real-time performance, adaptability, and interpersonal skills through challenges that take place during the event without direct content posting. These challenges evaluate creators' abilities beyond their typical content creation process, focusing on spontaneity, creativity under pressure, and collaborative skills.
Creators have 60 seconds to pitch a brand collaboration concept to a panel of brand representatives. This tests their ability to articulate ideas, demonstrate value, and present themselves professionally.
Creators receive random props and a location on the island, then have 30 minutes to conceptualize and shoot (but not post) a TikTok video. This tests adaptability, resourcefulness, and creativity under constraints.
Creators participate in a live Q&A session with event attendees, responding to spontaneous questions about content creation, their creative process, and industry insights. This tests their knowledge, authenticity, and audience rapport.
